Peggy and Mike Rivage-Seul are professors at Berea College who lead a life dedicated to social justice issue and education. Mike directs the Peace and Justice Studies Program and Berea and Peggy chairs the Women’s Studies program. Both are research associates at the Center for Global Justice. They have spent a great deal of time in Latin America working with such issues. Their book, A Kinder and Gentler Tyranny: Illusions of a New World Order, provides a fascinating, if troubling, look at the way First World policies affect Third World nations. A must read for anyone interested in social justice issues, the book is availible on amazon.com or can be checked out from either the Lexington Theological Seminary's or Berea College's library.
