Many people are aware that Habitat for Humanity provides housing for low-income families within their communities, but fewer are aware that Habitat for Humanity also does this internationally. As with all Habitat for Humanity projects, these depend on the generosity of people like you. Habitat for Humanity Global Village is an opportunity for volunteers to travel to other countries to work along side its citizens to help them better their quality of life. In addition to meeting wonderful new people and forming life-long friendships, you will have the opportunity to discover and explore a new culture. Not only will you change the lives of the people you help, but the experience will change you too. Habitat for Humanity Global Village projects generally require a time commitment of about 2 weeks.
